Cabbage stir fry
Ingredients
1.Cabbage (Finely Chopped)- 3cups
2.Onion - 1 large
3,Redchilli pwd(garlic flavoured) - 1tsp
4.salt - to taste
5.Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp
For seasoning
1.Oil - 2tbsp
2.Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
3.Jeera- 1/2tsp
4.Chana dal - 1tsp
5.Curryleaves - few
Method:
1.Heat oil in a wide bottomed pan.Add mustard seeds,once it splutters add chana dal and fry for few secs.Add jeers,curry leaves .
2.Add chopped onions to the seasoning and fry for 3mts.
3.Add chopped cabbage ,turmeric pwd and cook on high flame for 2mts.
4.Cover the lid and cook for med hi flame for 4mts.
5.Stir in between add chilli pwd ,salt and mix.
6.Cook in high flame and fry them for 3mts til cabbage fry well.
7.Serve with rice or roti
