Ingredients
1.Dondakai - 1/2 pound(Wash and remove both ends,slit them long)
2.Onion (chopped) - 1 medium
3.Red chilli powder - 1tsp
4.Salt - to taste
5.Roasted Channa dhal Or dhalia powder - 2tbsp
6.Dry coconut powder - 1tbsp
7.Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
For Seasoning
1.Oil - 3tbsp
2.Mustard seeds - 1/8tsp
3.Jeers - 1/8tsp
4.Curry leaves - few
Method
1.Heat oil in a pan.Add Mustard seeds,once it starts spluttering add jeera and curry leaves.Add the tindora pieces,turmeric powder and fry in medium flame by stirring occasionally till it is half cooked.
2.Once the tindora is half cooked add chopped onions,salt and fry the onions and tindora for 6-8mts in medium flame by stirring in between.
3.Add Red chilli powder,dry coconut powder,roasted channa dal powder and mix well for 2mts.Turn off the flame.
4.Serve with rice.
