Beans potato fry




Ingredients
1.French beans - 2cups(clean,wash and nip the ends on both sides and cut into 1" pieces)
2.Potatoes - 3Medium 
3.Onion - 1big(chopped)
4.Red chilli powder - 1tsp
5.Coriander powder  - 3/4tsp
6.Methi powder - pinch
For Seasoning
1.Oil - 4tbsp
2.Mustard seeds - 1tsp
3.Channa dal - 1/2tsp
4.Urad dal - 1/2tsp
5.Jeera - 1/4tsp
6.Curry leaves - Few
Method
1.Parboil beans,potatoes separately in a salty boiling water.Strain the water and keep it side.Peel the potatoes and cut into medium pieces.
2. Heat oil in a wide heavy bottom pan.Add seasoning in the order given under seasoning .Once the dal turns color saute onions for 3-4mts.Add beans,potatoes and cook in medium high flame for 2-3mts.
3.Add turmeric powder,salt,coriander powder and fry till the beans and potatoes gets completely cooked.Keep stirring in between to avoid any burning.
4.Add red chilli powder,methi powder and cook for 2mts.Turn off the flame and transfer into the bowl.
5.Serve hot with rice or roti
