Thotakura pappu - Amaranth leaves

1.Thotakura - 1 bunch
2.Toor dal - 1cup(chopped)
3.Green chilli - 2 small (chopped)
4.Onion - 1/2 cup(roughly chopped)
5.Tomato - 2(chopped)
6.Tamarind paste - 1tsp
7.Salt - to taste
8.Red chilli powder - 1tsp
For Seasoning
1.Oil - 1/2tsp
2.Ghee - 1tsp
3.Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
4.Curry leaves - few
5.Hing -pinch
6.Jeera - 1/2tsp

1.Pressure cook all the ingredients under the ingredients section  except tamarind paste with 21/2 cups water for 3-4 whistles.
2.Once the presure releases add open the lid and mix well.Turn the flame to medium add tamarind paste,adjsut salt and cook till you  get desired consistency.
3.In a small pan,heat oil and ghee.Ad mustard seeds,once it starts spluttering add jeera,curry leaves and hing.Add this seasoning to the dal and mix well.
