Ingredients
1.Besan flour - 3/4 cup
2.Rice flour - 1/4 cup
3.Red chilli pwd - 1/8tsp
4.salt - to taste
5.Baking soda - pinch
6.Green chillis/Bhajji chillies - 12
7.Oil - for deep frying
8.Onion (Finely chopped) - filling
9.Fresh lemon - 2
For stuffing
1.Ajwain seeds - 3tbsp
2.Dhalia - 1/4th cup
3.salt - to taste
Method:
1.Blend ajwain seeds,dhalia into fine pwd.To this add salt and mix well.keep this aside.
2.Wash Green chillies and make a slit in middle.Do not slit until the end.
Take out the seeds if you don't like spicy and fill with stuffing and keep aside.Repeat the same process with the rest of the chillies.
3.Heat oil in a pan .
4.In a bowl add besan flour, rice flour and baking soda.Add enough water and mix it very nicely with out any lumps.
5.Now dip the stuffed chillies in the batter and fry it in the oil in medium flame till it changes golden brown color.Keep this aside.
6.In a bowl add chopped onions,lemon juice and salt.Mix very well.
7.Now make a slit in center for each bajji with knife and fill with onion stuffing.
8.Serve hot with Tea.
