Dosakaya /Yellow cucumber Pappu



Ingredients
1.Toor dhal - 1cup
2.Yellow cucumber - 2medium(wash remive seeds and cut into big size pieces)
3.Tomato - 2(cut into quarters)
4.Green chillies - 4(cut into pieces)
5.Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
6.Salt - to taste
7.Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
8.Tamarind paste - 2tsp
For seasoning
1.Oil - 1/2tbsp.
2 .Ghee -1/2tbsp
3.Mustard seeds -1/4tsp
4.Jeera - 1/4tsp
5.Curry leaves - few
6.Hing - pinch

Method
1.Wash toor dhal and add 2cups water.To this add cucumber,onion pieces,tomato,green chilli,salt,tamarind paste,turmeric powder and salt.Pressure cook this for until the dhal gets completely cooked.
2,Once the pressure gets released,open the lid and mix well the ingredients.
3.Heat oil and ghee in a small pan.Add mustard seeds,jeera,curry leaves and hing.Mix this seasoning to the dhal.
4.Serve hot with rice.
