Ingredients
1.Cluster beans/Goru chikkudu - 1pound(Nip the ends and cut into 1inch pieces)
2.Onion - 2cups(chopped)
3.Salt - to taste
4.Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
Dry roast and grind into powder
1.Dry coconut powder - 2tbsp
2.Roasted chana dhal/Putnala Pappu - 1tbsp
3.Dry red chilli - 3
4.Garlic - 3
5.Jeera - 1/2tsp
6.Coriander seeds - 1tsp
For seasoning
1.Oil - 2tbsp
2.Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
3.Chana dhal - 1tsp
4.Jeera - 1/2tsp
5.Urad dhal - 1tsp
Method
1.Boil the cluster beans and in water.Add salt and boil for 4-5mts.Drain the water and keep it aside.
2.In a flat bottom pan,heat oil.Add Mustard seeds, Once it starts spluttering add jeera,chana dhal,urad dhal and fry till the dhal changes its color.
3.Add chopped onions and fry for 3-4mts.Add turmeric powder and salt.To this add boiled beans and fry in medium hi flame for 5-6mts.
4.Dry roast the following ingredients under dry roast section and make into powder.Add this powder to the beans and fry for 2-3mts.Adjust salt.Add red chilli powder if you prefer more.
5.Serve with rice or roti.
