Egg pulusu


1.Boiled eggs - 6(make slight slit on all sides)
2.Onions - 1cup(chopped)
3.Tamarind pulp -1/4th cup or tamarind paste - 3tbsp(adjust the tamarind paste to your tangyness)
4.Red chilli pwd - 1tsp
5.Tomatoes - 1 medium size(chopped)
6.Turmeric pwd - 1/2tsp
7.salt - to taste
8.Dhania pwd - 1/2 tsp(optional)
9.water - 2cups
10.Jaggery (grated) - 1tbsp(adjust according to your taste)

For seasoning
1.Oil - 1tbsp + 1tsp
2.mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
3.jeera - 1/2 tsp
4.Curry leaves - few

1.In a small bowl soak tamarind pulp in 1/2 cup water for 10mts.Extract tamarind juice from pulp.
2.In a pan heat oil
1tbsp oil add onions and fry them until it changes color.Add chopped tomatoes and fry well until it becomes soft.
3.Now add tamarind juice ,2cups of water and mix well.Cover it with lid .
4.When it starts boiling add chilli pwd,turmeric pwd,salt,dhania pwd and mix well.
5.Add boiled eggs and cook im mediumhi flame until the tamarind sauce becomes slightly thick.
6.Now add grated jaggery and cook for 5mts and turn off the flame.
7.In a small pan ad 1tsp oil add mustard seeds once it starts spluttering add jeera and curry leaves and add this seasoning in egg and tamarind mixture and mix well .
8.Serve hot with rice .
