CHICKEN FRY with Cashewnuts(2)


1.Whole chicken - 1cut into medium pieces
2.Onion - 1 1/2
3.Oil - 3tbsp
4.Grated fresh coconut - 2tbsp
5.cashewnuts - 10

for marinade:
1.Red chilli powder - 2tsp
2.turmeric pwd - 1/2tsp
3.salt - to taste
4.Gingergarlic paste - 2tsp
5.Lemon juice - 2tbsp
6.Dhania pwd - 1 tsp

Method:1.Marinate the chicken under marinate section for 30 minutes.
2.Boil the chicken in pressure cooker/seperately until the chicken is done or 1 whistle.
3.Heat oil in a pan .Add boiled chicken in medium flame and fry .Meanwhile if you pressure cook the chicken evaporate the water and add the thick sauce to fried chicken pieces and again fry in medium flame for 5 mts.
4.Add chopped onions to the cooked chicken and mix well.Stir in between.Keep frying until the chicken dried slightly.
5.Add cashewnuts, fresh grated coconut and mix well in low flame for 5mts.
6.Finally add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.
