Beerakai paluposina koora

1.Beerakai/Ridge gourd - 2(peeled and chop into pieces)
2.Onion - 1medium (chopped)
3.Oil - 32tbsp
4.Red chilli ped - 1tsp
5.Salt - to taste
6.Turmeric pwd - 1/2tsp
7.Milk - 3/4 cup

For seasoning:

1.Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
2.Jeera - 1/2tsp
3.Chana dhal - 1tsp

1.Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds,once it starts spluttering add channa dhal and fry til it change color.Add Jeera.
2.To this add chopped onions,an fry them for 3 mts.
3.Add chopped ridgegourd ,turmeric pwd,redchillipwd ans salt.Mix well.Turn the flame into medium and cook for 15 mts by ing the lid.
4.Once the ridge gourd cooks well, turn the flame high and add milk slowly and keep stirring til
it reaches thick consistency.
5.Serve with rice or chappatthis.
