Potato fry with ginger and green chillies

1.Potatoes - 8 medium (boil ,peeled and cut into medium pieces)
2.Onions - 2 medium(chopped)
3.Ginger (chopped) - 2tbsp
4.Green chillies - 4-5
5.salt - to taste
6.Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp

For seasoning
1.Oil - 3tbsp
2.Mustard seeds - 1/2tsp
3.Jeera - 1/2tsp
4.Curry leaves - few
5.Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
6.Chana dhal - 1/2 tsp

1.Make a coarse paste of ginger and green chillies with out adding any water and keep aside.
2.Heat oil in a wide bottomed pan.Add mustard seeds,once it starts spluttering add Channa dhal and fry for 30 secs,once it starts change in color,add urad dhal,jeera and curry leaves.
3.Add onions and fry for 2 mts.Add ginger,green chilli paste,turmeric powder and fry 4mts in medium hi flame.
4.Add boiled potatoes and fry in high flame for 2 mts.Reduce the flame to medium hi and fry for 4mts till potatoes slightly change in color.Keep stirring in between to avoid any burning.
5.Turn off the flame and serve with rice or roti.
