Kadai Paneer

I have some store brought paneer sitting in my fridge from long time.I wanted to use that today for Kadai Paneer.There are many versions of kadai paneer.I like all my kadai dishes to be semi dry.Here is my version of kadai paneer.
1.Paneer/Cottage cheese - 170gms(1cup)
2.Capsicum-1(Remove seeds and cubed)
3.Tomato - 1 1/2 cup(cubed)
4.Onion  - 1big(Cubed)
5.Garam masala - 3/4tsp
6.Turmeric powder -1/2tsp
7.Red chilli powder - 1/2tsp
8.Chat masala(optional) - 1/4tsp
9. Coriander Powder - 1/2tsp
10.Cumin Powder - 1/2tsp
11.Oil - 3tbsp
12.Kasoori Methi - 1/4tsp(crushed)
13.Ginger Garlic paste -1tsp 

1.Heat oil in a  flat bottom pan.Add Onions and saute for 3-4mts.Add tomatoes,ginger garlic paste and saute until the tomatoes gets cooked.
2.Add all the dry spices except chat masala to the tomatoes and mix well.If the mixture is too dry after adding spices sprinkle some water to avoid burning the spices.
3.Add capsicum and saute for 3-4mts.Add kasoori methi and mix well.Do not over cook.It should retain its crunchiness.
4.Add paneer pieces and saute to the mixture until the mixture coats well to the paneer pieces.Finally add chat masala  to the paneer and mix.Cook in high flame for 2mts.
5.Serve hot with chapatti,paratha or rice.

1.I use store brought paneer.Soak the paneer pieces in hot water for 5-7mts to become soft.
2.Cook on high flame for the whole cooking process to get semi dry consistency.
