Dondakai kobbari podi/Tindora with coconut




Ingredients
1.Dondakai/Tindora - 1/2pound(wash trim the ends and cut into slices)
2.Shredded dry coconut - 3tbsp

3.Onion - 1 small(sliced 

4.Salt - to taste

5.Red chilli powder - 1tsp

6.Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

7.Oil - 3 +2tbsp


For seasoning
1.Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp

2.Jeera - 1/2 tsp

3.Curry leaves - few

4.Urad dhal -1tsp
5.Chana dhal -1tsp


Method:
1.Heat pan and add oil.Add tindora slices and fry in medium flame till the tindora fry changes its color.Stir in between.After it fry well separate them in a plate.
2.In the same pan add oil.Add mustard seeds,once it starts spluttering add jeera,urad dal,channa dal,curry leaves.Add chopped onions and fry till the onions change color.
3.Add fried tindora to the seasoning and fry for 3mts.
4.Add shredded coconut and fry in medium flame by stirring in between for 3mts.  

4.Add  chilli powder,adjust salt and fry for 1minute.Turn off the flame.
5.Serve as a side dish with rice.
