Potato Fry

  1. Red Potatoes - 6 medium size
  2. Onions(chopped into small pieces) - 1 big
  3. Red chilli pwd - 1 - 2 tsp
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. oil - 3 tbsp
  6. Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp
  7. Kasoori methi - 1tsp
For Tadka/seasoning

1.Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
2.Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
3.Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
4.Channa dhal - 1 tsp
5.Dry red chilli - 1

1. Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces.Cut the onion
2.Heat the pan with oil in kadai.Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, urad dhal,cumin seeds
Channa dhal red chilly and allow it to fry until the Channa dhal changes the color.
3.Fry the onions in the oil until it slightly changes the color.
4.Now add chopped potato pieces and turmeric pwd and stir it in high flame.
5.Keep stirring in between until potatoes fry well .
6.Add chilli powder and salt and mix well for 2 mts.Add crushed kasoori methi and mix well
7.Serve hot with rice.
