Madeilines



Ingredients
1.Butter - 1/2 cup
2.Flour - 1cup
3.Baking powder - 1/2tsp
4.Eggs - 3
5.Sugar  - 3/4 cup
6.Vanilla essence - 1tsp

Method
1.Melt the butter in a heavy bottom vessel.Remove from heat and keep it aside.
2.In a bowl beat eggs,sugar,vanilla essence until it becomes smooth and sugar gets melted.
3.To this add baking powder,flour and fold gently.Finally add melted butter and mix well to the batter.
4.Pre heat oven to 375 degrees.Grease the Madeline pans with butter and drop the 1tbsp batter in each mould.If the batter is too soft,keep the Madeline trays in the fridge for 30 mts till it becomes firm.
5.Bake into the oven for 11-12 minutes or till the bottom part changes the color.Remove the pan from oven and turn to the other side and bake for 2 mts.

Orange cake

 

Ingredients
1.All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
2.Baking powder - 1tsp
3.Eggs - 2
4.Butter - 1/2 cup
5.Fresh orange juice - 1/4 cup
6.Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
7.Milk - 1/4 cup
8.Orange zest - 1/2 tsp
9.Sugar  - 2/3 cup
Method
1.In a bowl add eggs,butter,vanilla essence,sugar and beat till it becomes smooth and creamy.
2.In a separate bowl sieve baking powder,all purpose flour.Slowly add this flour to the butter,egg mixture and mix well.Add orage juice,milk and mix well.Transfer this batter tomthe grease cake tin.
3.Pre heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 45-50mts or till the tooth pick comes out clean.
4.Once it is cool down cut into slices and serve.

Banana Bread



Ingredients
1.Bananas - 2(big)
2.Walnuts - 1/2 cup
3.Baking powder - 1tsp
4.Baking soda - 1/4tsp
5.Eggs - 2
6.Sugar - 3/4 cup
7. Cinnamon powder - 3/4tsp
8.Wheat flour -1/2 cup
9.All purpose flour - 1 1/4 cup
10.Butter - 1/2 cup(melted)
Method
1.Mash bananas in a bowl.To this add sugar,butter,beaten eggs and mix well till the sugar melts.
2.In a separate bowl sieve wheat flour,all purpose flour,baking powder,baking soda.To this add cinnamon powder and mix well.
3.Fold the dry ingredients  into wet ingredients and mix gently.Pound walnuts coarsely.keep a side 2 tbsps of walnuts.Add remaining walnuts to the batter and fold gently.
4.Grease the loaf pan and transfer the batter to pan.Sprinkle 2tbsp walnuts on top of the batter and bake in oven for 50 -55mts or till tooth pick comes out clean. 
5.Once it is cool down cut into slices.

Eggless Walnut,dates cake

 


Ingredients

1.All purpose flour - 11/2 cup
2.Vanilla essence - 1tsp
3.Walnuts - 1/2 cup(chopped)
4.Dates(Pitted) - 1cup
5.Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
6.Baking Powder - 1tsp
7.Condensed Milk - 1Can
8.Butter - 1/4 cup+1tbsp





Method
1.Chop the dates and soak in 3/4 cup of hot water for 20 minutes.
1.Sieve flour,baking soda,baking powder into a bowl.
2.In a separate bowl beat butter,vanilla essence and condensed milk till it becomes smooth.
3.Add flour to the condensed milk mixture .Mix chopped walnuts to the flour.
4.To this add soaked dates and water.Fold gently till the dates mix very well into the batter.
5.Preheat the oven for 350 degrees.
6.Grease the cake tin . pour the batter to the cake tin and bake in oven for 50-55 minutes.

Zebra cake




Ingredients
1.All purpose flour - 2cups
2.Olive oil - 1cup
3.Milk - 11/2 cup
4.Baking soda - 2tsp
5.Sugar - 11/2cup
6.Vanilla essence - 11/2tsp
7.Eggs - 4
8.Unsweetened Cocoa powder - 3tbsp


Method:
1.Beat sugar ,eggs and vanilla essence till creamy for 5 mts.To this add milk,oil and mix well.
2.In a separate sieve APF,baking powder and mix well.
3.Slowly mix all the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and fold gently.
4.Divide half of the batter into a separate bowl.To this add cocoa pwd and mix well.
5.Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees.
6.Grease the pan with butter or oil.

5.Arrange the batter carefully in the cake pan.
6.Add 1/2 cup plain batter in the center.
7.On top of it add 1/2 cup of cocoa batter. Alternate the batter with plain and cocoa batter till it is done with out pausing it.
8.Bake in the oven for 35-40 mts. or insert the tooth pick in center as it comes out clean.
